Welcome to the launch – of Blended Journeys, of our travels and our marriage!

Hi everyone! We’re super excited to create this place to share our stories, our learnings and our love for each other.

We’ll have a couple posts coming up to tell you more about ourselves but to start, I’m Jyoti and I’m married to my wonderful husband Damian. Here’s a silly picture of us (from our trip to Charleston).

We met back in 2013, started dating in 2014 and got married in February of 2018. The main reason for this blog is to document our travels, past and present. The impetus for starting it now is that starting on April 1 we are embarking on an 8-month around-the-world travel adventure! We’ve always loved travel and wanted a place to capture our experiences and share them with our friends and families.

On top of that, I love reading travel blogs and given our style of finding off-the-beaten-path adventures I wanted to put our little words of wisdom into the travel blogosphere.
